Nutchariphon Matsamrong
Thai Touch Therapy owner Nut (Nutchariphon Matsamrong) originally trained as a Thai Chef in her home city of Nakhon Ratchasima. Nut built up her own successful restaurant, and then in 2002 she came to London to work as Head Chef at the head office of a large retail group.
Nut became interested in Thai message through a friend who owned a Thai massage practice in Central London. With her entrepreneurial spirit she returned to Thailand to study at the Union of Thai Traditional Medicine, qualifying in 2008.
On returning to London she built a successful practice in Oxford Street, and was later joined by her two daughters Ty and Orm who both qualified in 2010.
She has now relocated and bought the successful Thai Touch Therapy business on Acton Hill. At the beginning of 2013 both the ground and first floor of the premises were refurbished, with great care being taken to preserve the feel of the traditional Thai welcome – even importing rare smelling salts and herbs to give that authentic atmosphere.
